Internal Folding / A14F
The A14F system is designed for folding doors in residential or
commercial applications. It enables up to 7 1/2 doors to be folded
in either direction with the panels positioned half inside and half
outside the reveal. A14F is typically used in Restaurants, Schools
and Shop Fronts where space on either side of the opening is critical.

PANEL SIZING
This system uses full sized panels with a half panel (hinged to
the jamb) with E2H hinges.
WEATHER
Half-panel centrefolding systems, such as this, are not recommended for use with applications where weather protection is required as weather sealing is not possible.
SECURITY
Doors are secured with dropbolts. Control of the bottom of the panels is done with roller guides and channel. If security is not required, floor channel is optional and may be deleted.
MATERIALS
The A14F track is available in both steel and aluminium with either
steel or nylon tyred carriers. Steel tyred wheels are not suitable
for use with the aluminium track. Both steel or aluminium track
may be powdercoated.

As illustrated, an odd number of panels is required to swing a service door.
ARCHITECTS AND SPECIFIERS
This system is suitable for metal and timber, full or framed panels
with a maximum panel weight of 40kg. You can simply specify Centor
A14F, and leave detailed component selection to the builder.
