Internal Folding / A9F
The A9F system is designed for folding doors and shutters in residential
and light commercial applications. The system uses jump-proof 4 wheel
carriers with plated or stainless steel precision bearings and can
support a panel weight up to 20kg (45 lb) with a maximum of four each
way.

HINGED OR PIVOTED
The first panel swung off the jamb (the “jamb panel”) can either be hinged to the jamb with 3 non-morticed hinges, or pivoted with top and bottom pivots.
PANEL SIZING
All panels used with the pivoted system are of identical size. However, if the jamb panel is hinged to the jamb (not pivoted), it must be made smaller than the others to allow for the carrier offset. Installation detail and full working calculations are shown in this section for pivoted systems and hinged systems.
SECURITY
Where security is a requirement, the jamb panel must be hinged to the jamb, not pivoted. A pivoted panel could be removed by depressing the top spring-loaded plunger.
MATERIALS
Track is in both steel and aluminium. The carrier wheels have plated or stainless steel bearings and nylon outer tyres. Floor channel is aluminium. Track and channel can be powdercoated.

ARCHITECTS AND SPECIFIERS
This system is suitable for metal, vinyl and timber door panels,
up to 20 kg each, with maximum of 4 panels each way. You can simply
specify Centor A9F, and leave detailed component selection to the
builder.
