External Sliding / WS
Centor's WS is a stylish, slide system that provides a silky
smooth operation which allows a wider passage to be enjoyed over the
conventional sliding systems.
The WS system has been designed to operate to a massive expanse of 6.1 metres
in width and 2.4 metres in height, whilst each operable panel can hold up to
150kg of door weight. This system has one fixed panel at one end and 2 sliding
panels which go back to the fixed panel position when opened. A maximum of six
panel configuration is possible with four of the six panels operable.

The WS system is designed to feature the look and feel of crafted
wood doors, with hardware almost entirely concealed. The very limited
exposure of the aluminium tracking system is required to provide the
combined functionality of reliable operation, security and weatherproofing.
Dropbolt locking hardware is also available in distinct complementing finishes
to add to the elegance of the sliding timber panels while providing a high
level of security.
The best part of the WS systemis that it provides an opening
that allows for the majority of the vista to be enjoyed without impeding
on limited or valuable indoor and outdoor areas, even when your doors
are closed to protect you from the elements you can enjoy the larger
sized glazed panels providing less interruptions than standard sliding
doors.
Outdoor views can be appreciated in any weather, be it coastal, mountain

HEAD AND SILL TRACKS
The WeatherSlide’s top Head and bottom Sill tracks are available in 2 aluminium lengths of 4.9m and 6.1m and finishes in either Anodised Satin Natural and Bronze Anodised.
DOUBLE GANTRY ROLLER SYSTEM BOGEY
The WS double gantry roller system is available as individual items,
and can carry a load up to 150kg when using 2 roller units per
door panel as recommended.
DOOR COLLECTION HARDWARE
The door collecting hardware is available as individual kits finished in Natural Anodised and Brown Powdercoated.
WEATHERSEALS
Centor can supply Schlegel (TS48500, PB69650, and QLB7000) WeatherSeals
to suit the WS door sealing as recommended.
DROPBOLTS
Low Profile Dropbolts are required for door passing clearances, this range of low profile Dropbolts and their various finishes can be found in our catalogue or in the Dropbolts section of our website.
PRODUCT TESTING
WeatherSlide™ systems are laboratory tested to achieve Centor’s proudly high standards of quality. Testing includes Finite Element Analysis, Corrosion, Cyclic, and Weather testing. At Centor we test for the extreme environments that our products could face during their lifecycle; this is backed up by a 10 year Warranty.
Please note that when choosing your panel and frame material that you have allowed for a material strength that will secure the screws for the height, width and weight that this system allows. Please refer to your local joiner/fabricator for material recommendations.
ARCHITECTS AND SPECIFIERS
You can simply specify Centor WS, and leave detailed component
selection to the builder.
